just do it. seriously. just pick up a legal pad and sketch some bullshit. open a word doc and start typing that thing youve been tossing around in your brain. download an audio program and fuck around.
get together with your friends and talk about things youve been thinking about making. if they dont want to, get new friends. then with the new friends talk about the thing you wanted to make, and chances are there will be someone who can give you some advice on giving yourself the grace to get into it. (and not spend a million dollars if you dont need to. unless you want to i guess. im not your dad.)

if its been hard to make stuff on your own, go hang out and make stuff with your friends. you can either find out it doesnt work as much as you hoped or it helped more than youd have thought possible with all the bullshitting going on. collaboration is important for humanity, and its something i forget a lot. a lot of people do i think.

but thats ok. just fucking do the thing. getting to a level you feel really good about is gonna take time, and even still there are more heights to reach. more things to try out, to make, and enjoy with your fellow humans. just go make it.
